Marcela Lombana is recognized as one of South Florida’s most accomplished interior designers, with over two decades of experience conceptualizing luxury residential and hospitality projects.

Throughout her career, Marcela has leveraged her intuition, authentic personality, and creative leadership to cultivate an impressive roster of clients and design projects ranging from private residences and celebrated neighborhood restaurants to lifestyle-driven developments and hospitality properties. Her thoughtful approach and master planning skills have earned her a respected reputation as a “local” design leader in the South Florida market.

Beyond her extensive local expertise, Marcela brings a global perspective to her work, having led projects in some of the world’s most sought-after destinations, including Barcelona, Mexico City, Cartagena, the West Indies, and, of course, Miami.

As a trusted creative visionary, clients rely on Marcela to guide projects from concept development to creative execution. She plays an essential role in shaping each property’s identity by collaborating closely with clients and teams from the early ideation stages through brand creation.

In addition to establishing her Miami-based design studio, Marcela collaborated with the award-winning Meyer Davis Studio from 2019  to 2023, where she led the creative vision for their South Florida projects. Her contributions included notable developments such as Mr. C Residences in Coconut Grove, SLS Residences in Cancun, Mondrian South Beach, and Baccarat Residences Brickell.

Outside of her design work, Marcela is an avid equestrian and competes year-round in Wellington, Florida. Her passion for the sport has further honed her discipline, attention to detail, and love for excellence—qualities that she brings to every design project she undertakes.
